Since I already graduated some months ago, I have nothing to do now…and i can’t tolerate this countdown to dec 15…that’s why i am going to sleep until dec 15 … a complete hibernation…
if u guys have any better suggestion to pass time without remebering dec 15… please post

i dont get it, are u on a gap year?

something like that… our exams ended in july 2006…so, i could have applied last year…but i would have had to go to USAiiii in just a month …so, i am applying this year…

something like that… our exams ended in july 2006…so, i could have applied last year…but i would have had to go to USAiiii in just a month …there were alot of things left for me to do …so, i am applying this year…

i am from Nepal…
and by the way… in which month does highschool end in USA

i am canadian international

and i am from texas.
lol i just wanted to be part of the conversation =P

in texas, high school ends at the very end of may.

this gap year was the best time of my life
i wandered around my country …did some real social work…though i didn’t mention it in my app. … really adventurous roadtrip around my country…
also did some small jobs…
but now, there is nothing much left to do and the fear of decision is killing me.

u probably should have mentioned it

yah… but i went to those rural areas with my 2 friends and not under any organization… so, i really didn’t find any place in app. to write them… i could have based my personal essay around this …but i thought that it might seem made up…and just didn’t want to risk it…and people have got this whole thing about community service all wrong… they are doing it just to fill their application and get college… the inner peace, satisfaction and changes it created in me are more important than acceptance from princeton…
though acceptance from princeton would be really welcome…lol

You really should have told them, dude. Your experience sounds sincerely interesting. Wow, you lost a great opportunity!

yeh, im not sure about their thinking u made it up. potentially everyone could have made up all of their experiences!

now i am thinking u guys are correct…i will do that in my RDs… what is done is done…anyway it was so fun …
we were 3 guys…on this roadtrip…to enjoy…we wasted a lot of money at first…we were too broke to go to hotels and well known places… so, we went to places where people didn’t normally go…and we went to places where there were no schools, no electricity , nothing… we lived in such a primitive environment that we really saw how good our own life was…
guys, do go to such places…it really gives a perspective to look at your own life and appreciate it…

Wow, that’s amazing. You’re so lucky to be able to do that.

I am excited. I’m gonna find out whether or not I was accepted earlier than you guys will - on the 1st.

er… how??
