<p>I’m trying to find a nice wallet for S2, something simple but well-made, and not made of leather (he is an animal rights person). I haven’t been able to find anything online. Suggestions?</p>
<p>Check out victorinox microber/nylon wallets…a bit pricey but my sons like them , especially the one that has an inner zipper compartment for coins. look for best price, amazon was best a few months ago</p>
<p>Target has a nice selection of nylon wallets, my son likes the trifold style. Kohl’s also has online nylon wallets.</p>
<p>Search amazon for “nylon wallet mens” or “nylon trifold wallet mens”, or just google it, and you will get lots of choices.</p>
<p>I haven’t used a nylon wallet in years so I can’t recommend a particular one. But there are tons of them.</p>
<p>Personally, I like “surfer” nylon wallets and have been using one in my purse for many years. It is slim and fits well in my purse, with a zipper compartment for change. It COULD be folded and has a velcro closure (which I removed because I use it flat in my purse). It was from the Men’s department at Macy’s, but is widely available on-line as has been mentioned. If he has or may get something with a microchip, you might want to look at the RFID-blocking wallets; since I never carry any cards that have a microchip, I don’t bother with the additional expense of such blocking devices. It’s just one more thing you may wish to consider.</p>
<p>I needed to buy one last year. I think I googled “vegan wallet” and found a good one that way.</p>
<p>It might help if he had other preferences. For example, how important is capacity? Compact size?</p>
<p>Note that leather wallets tend to be relatively bulky for a given capacity, so someone who wants to maximize capacity for a given size would likely end up choosing a non-leather wallet anyway.</p>
<p>My daughter is into Tyvek wallets. They are flimsy, but indestructible and come in patterns including maps, photographs, etc.</p>
<p>My DS loves his Duct Tape Wallet. He purchased one, but there are instructions all over the internet as well.

<p>ucbalumnus, he doesn’t need to carry much - a few bills, some change, an ID, a library card. This is his first wallet.</p>
