Walmart Phone Plans

Anyone tried it yet? I am sick of my prestigious company monthly bill.

Target also had an array of pay as you go (pre-paid) phone plans, ranging from as low as $30/month to $50/month of unlimited web, voice & text from nearly all mainstream carriers. The brochures were from the carriers themselves – Target just had them on display & I picked up one from each company as we’re getting tired of Verizon’s plan that has us paying $111 for 3 lines with NO net at all and unlimited text + 700 minutes.

Didn’t know Target had one, too. Thanks! Wonder if we can get some feedback on them as well?

No, Target just has BROCHURES about the various pre-paid phone plans from other carriers available & sell the phones themselves for the pre-paid plans, as well as minutes/cards.

It is NOT a Target plan. Didn’t know WalMart has its own plan.

Walmart calls it Straight Talk. I am still researching. Thanks for clarifying.

Here’s a 2011 article about pre-paid cell phone plans. Things change often, so double-check for the most current details.

I’m pretty sure Straightalk is more like Virgin Mobile where they don’t have a lot of frills, just low cost plans-not pre-paid plans.
