WALMART scholarship 2009

Do we need to send a copy of FAFSA, rec letters, and official transcript?
How else would they verify my information?

Also, i just started the FAFSA yesterday so can I sign the form with my conditional PIN?

nvm for the first part… the cover sheet explained it

but FAFSA & PIN?

the scholarship is due today. they need a copy of your transcript (doesn’t have to be official) and a copy of your sat/act scores. they also need a coversheet from your last year’s tax form.

yeah no FAFSA. That’s not until later.

I applied for this! Sent my app. in today.

Good luck to all other applicants!

I applied for this as well. Good luck everyone!
(by the way, is it just me, or was the activities section on the online portion to short)

I applied!

Yea!!! They barely let us put anything under activities and community service!!! Some of these scholarship applications are quite simple for them to try and determine recipients!

I applied too :] Haha, I heard there were like 1000 biliion scholarships for the SWCS last year BECAUSE the apps were so simple. Good luck to everyone who applied!

1000 billion? wow thats a lot! lol ha ha how much is each award? I don’t even know lol

If you’re going to apply for scholarships you should at least know the difference between “to” and “too.”

^ If you’re writing on a forum, you should know that nobody cares about spelling mistakes.

kassos-

That is pretty rude and there is no place for that here. I hope no one reprimands me for putting an ocassional “i” or lol.

Punctuation isn’t such a big deal. Spelling is bad but grammar is the worst, such as not knowing to from too or here from hear.

Get over it.

Thanks guys for defending me.
Kassos, can you please not attack me like that. Who are you to judge who should apply or receive scholarships? You don’t even know me. And yes, it is only a forum, forgive me for making one little mistake.

And by the way…I immigrated to the United States when I was 10 years old and I had not learned ANY English until that age. I have only been speaking and writing English for 7 years, so think twice before you judge someone. I think I have done a pretty good job of getting accustomed to the U.S.

I said IF you’re going to apply to a scholarship, then you should do x and y. I never said you shouldn’t apply. I was only giving advice IF you were going to apply.

kassos, just leave it be. Margaux never asked for your advice and we’d appreciate it if you didn’t nitpick on the spelling/grammar of people’s posts.

hey guys sorry for interrupting is feud but did anyone’s application become complete with all the documents submitted on International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc website. I submitted my paperwork along time ago but the paperwork I submitted hasn’t been updated.

Thanks for the help and reply

Thanks for bringing the thread back to its main tracks.

It takes about 3 weeks for them to process it or so. I submitted paper docs for the ISTS for the comcast scholarship too and didn’t receive recognition till about a month later. Don’t worry about it.
