Walter Williams Scholar?

<p>The website states that the only requirement to be a Walter Williams Scholar is a 33 or above on your ACT (assuming that your grades are up to par).</p>

<p>Is there any other requirements that I should be aware of? like a gpa minimum or an essay?</p>

<p>Also, are you automatically a WW Scholar if you meet the requirements, or is there a certain selection process amongst those who qualify?</p>

<p>You are automatically a Walter Williams Scholar if you qualify - ACT score of 33 or higher and top 10% of your class. No essay, no GPA minimum, although there might be a minimum to maintain it once you’re at Mizzou. You might want to email the journalism department. Everyone is so helpful at Mizzou!</p>
