I didn’t participate in competitions except for writing primarily because well, I don’t like competitions. They’re just not my thing. All of those ECs were done out of sheer passion.
Yeah, I had a rough start with multiple B’s Freshman year (due to the fact that I played the piano wayyy too much) and the stupid C and B 1st semester sophomore year. I did show an upward trend, though.

I’ll major in English Literature. Essays and recs will be GREAT (from the writer that I worked with in Tuscany and from National Geographic)

So, safeties? I was sort of thinking CUNY - City College. If I don’t get into the Ivy League, then this school is my first choice. The only Ivies that I’ll apply to are Cornell, Penn (ED) and Princeton.

Chances/help? Thank you all!!!

…Bump… Please

You need to stop posting these threads. Your wasting everyone’s time including your own with these hypothetical Junior/Senior grades and test scores you probably haven’t even taken yet.

I just want to know if I have a shot if I get those scores, ok? It’s not a crime.

Worry about doing the best you can now. It’s not a crime to fantasize about Ivy Leagues, but it sure is inane make dozens of chance threads with imaginary grades and scores. You even have 2nd semester grades for senior year already, yet most college deadlines are by 1/1.

…yeah…I’m actually just worried about this one annoying C in math. I know that Princeton doesn’t look at freshman grades, so all that they’ll see is one B and one C on my transcript. Really getting down to it, I just want to know how much this will affect me. I’m seriously stressing…and my PSAT scores SUCK but yet when I took the ACT practice tests (Barrons) I got a pretty nice score, so I think that I’ll be ok with the ACT. But seriously, I got an extremely low score on the PSAT and it’s freaking me out!!!
