Want a decision before late April? Come in here to find out how.

I have finally had enough of the waiting and am organizing a group to retrive the rest of the admissions decisions.

The Plan:
We are going to assemble a team of highly qualified individuals to construct a dispensable, one-time use time machine.

The Team:
We will need:
4 Physics majors (minimum)
2 Engineering majors (maximum)
1 Pre-med (Physiology pre-req completed please; accidents happen)
2 Women’s studies majors (required for sacrifice upon arrival in future-April for statistical reasons)

If you could please post with your Major, GPA, and any flight and/or timetravel experience I will be recruiting shortly.

For those concerned about timeframe of completion:
Considering the current team proposed we should be able to finish this weekend, depending on the rate of response. The prospective launch date will be Monday March 26. (for the curious: arrival date is expected to be April 29)

Also, if applying and planning to attend this weekends construction please plan to bring some soda and/or chips. I have a lot of turkey wraps in my fridge but we may want something more ‘finger food’-y to hold us over during travel.

Note: try not to overpack food for the return trip, we will be expecting some (unfortunate) suicides upon reception of decisions.

I have been receiving some concerned PM’s about liability and would like to take the time to address them collectively.

This year’s mission will NOT have a liability waiver this time. After last year’s mishap we figured that following up on settlement payments for those stuck in the future and/or past (Jerry 2010 and Jerry 2011 will both be very missed) are incredibly difficult and costly to maintain.

I appreciate your understanding and look forward to your continued support for the project.

I have traveled back in time once. I became a slug.

???

I’m high right now and conscious of which site I am, but whoever is making this is so awesome for even having the creativity.

Huh ??? What is it ???

i have flight experience; over 3000 hours. i have 5 years experience as a flight engineer. i am an aerospace engineering major with a 3.85 GPA

@lawlking
Are you sure you were actually time traveling, not just on Salvia?

Very plausible, a friend of mine have been discussing this before his disappearance. His theory was that time is the 4th dimension, with the other 3: length, width, height.

I’m already in a time machine called 21 units. It’s whisking me forward in time at breakneck speed.

Wait, why use Women’s Studies major for the sacrifice? Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to sacrifice some future lawyers (pre-law) or, better yet, future hedge fund managers (pre-business)?

Unenthusiastic Philosophy major reporting in!

I, too, have theories of space, time, travel, and so forth. The three divvied up between some half a half dozen, and a baker’s dozen of coffee tins, to be safe, of course, with what is it the right part of my brain? the left side? some side right at it, at space, that is, or, another, right, another at space I mean time; third one’s travel. . . . Idea’s you throw all the physics crap out the window. (Hear, hear!) And listen here. I ain’t gonna bother with Sanskrit or Mishnaic, ya dig. But, well, clearly, if you’ll will it (for I’ma advice ya forget Wells . . .), Twain was onto something, irrevocably marked, mind you, for I’m not unsentimental and even less unrelenting, twain Mark Twain, along a broken spine and amid Southern South walls of Gluttonous acclivity: I’m talking watermelon and the whole deal: but that’s beside the point: the point’s Poul wrote all too austerely, all too antithetically, for all too silly a title: but, wait, no, that’s not the point: the point’s the thing traced, cycled round, to the thesis we arrive by simple Web-knowledge, and, yeah, an interest in affecting something’sn’t there, to’ve bumped right along and arrived, finally, and soon to say (and soon enough become, so to say, seducee, for all that gorgeous prose, unprosaic to let a gag):

Encyclopaedic narrative’s on,
So totally screwy.
Gimme Willy G.,

If you ask me, we should sacrifice virgins.

AKA Computer Science majors.

wink wink

^ I don’t want to be sacrificed (sad face)

If this were Reddit this post would have SO MANY of my upvotes.

Upboats? What are these upboats you speak of?

What’s taters, precious?

But yeah, there is no /r/collegeconfidential and it makes me sad.

Your mission is unnecessary. I already did it myself.

LOL

But no, I’m a physics/math double major! GPA: 4.0

Seasoned time traveler (I killed the dinosaurs myself by accident but covered it up by making it look like it was a comet)

I visited ancient Egypt and I’m even in some of the hieroglyphics on the walls.

No flight experience though.

It is already March 29th. Keep up the good work.

I think this thread is pretty much empirical evidence that delirium begins to set in around month four after having filled out a UC application.

At least we’re all going insane together.

for those who applied to ucla:

when you sign in to the admission decisions page, do you see a ucla student ID number on the top right corner?

I see a “best of craigslist” post in the future.
