Want to feel like a GOD? Come here.

I am the worst driver in the world, and I say this with the utmost confidence. I have had my permit for a month now and I have done the following:

 1. almost crashed three times!
 2. ran away with the car for about a block alone because someone honked at me
 3. hit two small girls
 4. hit a police car

It doesn’t help that every time I make the slightest mistake or am in a busy area, my dad is almost always reaching over to take control of the wheel. I need to become a competent driver within one month in order to drive to school (15 miles away).

Ay dios mio. That reminds me, I have to read Ladron de la Mente for AP Spanish…

jeez! are they ok?

3) hit two small girls

You get a bonus multiplier for that since they were small, right?

Oh wow! I meant almost hit them.

Yikes.

chuy - you’re hilarious.

I just got my permit this week. I hope I am luckier than you!!! I mean, I hope to not even come close to hitting two small girls!

oh wow. what did the police do? were they okay?

Here is a hint, why don’t you give up the whole driving thing. I only hate a few things, and one of them is terrible drivers. If you suck, which you know you do, then don’t put other people’s lives at risk.

Why don’t you first practice in the middle of nowhere and work yourself up or something.

The police officer was actually very kind about it. We gave him our information, and it was all okay.

Yeah, I hate terrible drivers, too. I’ve actually been looking for some empty parking lots to practice in. I don’t want to put people’s lives at risk, and, for that reason, I’ve convinced my dad to take me driving to empty places, like around the neighborhood and to weird hours. I’m hoping that practicing daily for an hour or two will help me improve more. I’m not going to give up driving just because I am not great at it yet. I’m just going to practice more in empty places.

maybe you could practice in the middle of the desert where there’s nothing to hit except maybe a cactus

or an empty highschool parking lot

Practice a lot…

As bad as the driver the OP thinks he/she is, I have seen some horrible ones in my very limited experience. I got my license a year ago and I never drive. It’s not that I’m a bad driver (I passed the road test on my 1st try). I just don’t feel safe driving in NYC, home of the worst drivers on Earth (that’s not an opinion, it’s a well-documented fact). Just practice and practice so there is one less bad driver on the road.

Are you…

 1. an asian?
 2. a woman?
 3. old?
 4. Oh goodnes…an asian grandmother? hhahaha

yeah totally, asian girls suck at driving. My ex was terrible, and a friend of mine got hit by one.

I would’ve had my license by now, but I’m a terrible procrastinator… =(

My biggest struggle is telling when I’m on the road. The wheels always go off the road. Whoops. I’m really good at parking, though!

Your wheels go off the road? How the hell do you manage that one?

people who suck at driving should NOT be driving… its a humungous steel missile youre sitting in, make sure you know how to drive it before you go out in it
