<p>You can be any major you want to be as long as you take all of the pre-med courses.</p>

<p>If you have two failing marks on your transcript, then your GPA will not be competitive for medical school admissions. Changing your major will most likely not help; failing science courses is not a great predictor of med school admissions success.</p>
<p>Med Schools have acceptance rates around 3%, and you need to excel in your classes, have a high GPA, high MCAT score, and meaningful EC’s help. The majority of preMed students are lucky to get into just 1-3 Med schools, even if they apply to 15-18 - it’s tough!</p>
<p>You got kicked out of college and have a 1.42 GPA, and you’re failing all your Science classes, which suggests you’re not even trying. If you seriously want to go to Med school, this is what you must do: Work hard, transfer out of Community College and get into a 4 year school. Raise your GPA to at least 3.5 and do well on the MCAT. These are the mandatory classes:</p>

1 year of Biology w/Lab
1 year of Organic Chemistry w/Lab
1 year of Physics w/Lab
1 year of English/Writing
1-2 semesters Calculus</p>
