Want to major in bio, but got mediocre grades. Should I still put that as my major?

<p>I’m applying to UC’s and I want to major in Bio. My bio grades from high school are mediocre, not because I’m bad at it but because I was lazy and didn’t study really. </p>

<p>So would it look bad that I’m trying to apply as a major for that if I didn’t get A’s in all my bio classes? (meaning freshman biology and AP biology)</p>

<p>put undeclared. I think UCI states something to the effect that it will admit you as undeclared as a last resort.</p>

<p>huh? then why would that be my first option?</p>
