I will NEVER understand anyone wanting to get rid of Legos! Legos should not be sold, only cherished.

Now, I know that is not the point of your thread Toledo - yes, how disturbing re: ammo. However, they did choose another item of stellar value to trade - the Legos.

(and seriously, I truly don’t understand anyone parting with Legos! Hopefully these do not belong to a child who is still currently enjoying them!)

I think it’s funny. If seller wanted to trade for a gun, I might fantasize a nut or felon who is prevented from legally buying a gun trying to trade for one, but I don’t believe there are any legal restrictions on purchasing ammo, so the notion of trading Legos for ammo strikes me as silly, and maybe a tad ironic.

It feels creepy, but is probably for financial reasons. (and hopefully for trap or skeet)

My H has a ton of old trap/skeet shooting ammo that I would love to get rid of.(used to load his own shells for his skeet team) We donated some of it to our local police station, but didn’t enjoy the daily presence of a police car sitting near our driveway for the week following the donation.

Someone wants to trade something that’s legal for something else that’s legal. much ado about nothing, IMO. The root of the recent horrific shootings is mental illness. I don’t see any indicators that the seller is mentally ill.

Wow, my take on this was completely different:

i* Father:* Hi, Ma – how are you and Pop doing?*
**Grandma: **Just fine, dear.
**Father: **I got some time off . . .
**Grandma: **That’s nice, dear.
**Father: **. . . and Wifey and I are thinking of taking a little vacation. You know how difficult it’s been for her with the 5 kids, especially since the twins got kicked out of nursery school. And the two older ones have a school vacation coming up next week, so we figured it’s the perfect time for us to get away, just the two of us. I’ll have three weeks off, and we could really use a break. And the kids always enjoy visiting you . . .
**Grandma: **How long did you say?
**Father: **. . . I still can’t believe you saved all my toys from when I was a kid. They always have so much fun at your house. Three weeks. It’ll be three weeks. We’ll drive up to your place before we leave.
**Grandma: *Alright, dear. Just let me know when you’ll be here. I’ll be on the porch waiting for you.
