I have taken only english and humanities courses. I have a 4.0 GPA. I don’t have anything to show from high school. I am applying for the fall and will be taking science and math courses in the spring. How bad will this affect me on my application?
PS I am in CC.
Depends upon where you want to transfer and the school’s transfer requirements (ie. Required courses) along with intended major.
Bryn Mawr, sociology major, no required courses, I’m a nontraditional student
Providd you have math and science scheduled for the spring, I don’t think there should be a problem, but do contact the admissions office at Bryn Mawr about this. Truly, it is not just OK to ask, but it is a really good idea. You can start by asking what you need to do to be considered under the Community College Connection guidelines (for transfers from a CC), and under guidelines for transfers under the McBride Scholard (non-trad age) program.
Wishing you all the best!
