<p>To begin, I am already in a really rough situation. I am enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona for the fall and so far it’s not going well and I’m regretting my decision to attend. I’m from the east coast and I know for sure I’ll be homesick a lot, and to make matters worse I’m waitlisted for housing. After contacting the school about my housing situation, housing services said there’s a chance I won’t get housing before the quarter starts. I’m starting to feel like I made a terrible decision and should have stayed at the east coast. Also, I do have family in California but they live very far away.</p>
<p>Can you defer a quarter? Congratulations, CPP is very hard to get into for OOSs. Look for local housing, check Craigslist. Continue asking housing for help.</p>
