My family loved this movie. Ds2 had a Vote for Pedro T-shirt.
I’ll never forget that dh’s principal took the staff to watch the movie as a team-building thing, and one of his co-workers just did not get it. She was mad that they went to a movie that was so “weird and unprofessional.”
So, funny thing… I had to type in an email address to read the article, and I realized that I chose that particular email address based on a scene from Napoleon Dynamite. “We still feeling pretty good about this 32-piece set here?”
As someone who grew up not in Preston, but not too far away, and went to a special theater downtown to see the movie right when it was released, it has always had such a special place in my family’s life.
