Why anyone would get advice about birth control from TikTok and Instagram is beyond me. Talk to your doctor, ask questions, and if one method doesn’t work for you, switch. Every medicine has side affects, just because your friend had bad side affects, doesn’t mean you will.

Even though news on social media is heavily opinion rather than factual reporting, and some of the opinions are counterfactual, a substantial percentage of people get news from social media.
And that’s a problem…you shouldn’t trust something just because it’s on social media.
