Ok I’ve gotten major screwed so as a public service to y’all I’ll help you aviod the mistakes I made.

When you register for the SATI or the SATII they ask you to send scores to colleges. ONLY SEND TO FOUR SCHOOLS, THE ONES YOU GET FOR FREE I sent to 8 schools payed the extra 29 bucks, twice, one for the SATI and once for the SATII. BAD IDEA. I’m not even appling to 2(or more) of the schools I’ve sent scores to. Wait until you are just about to submit you application to send your scores to colleges. This will prevent the CB from stealling more money from you.

I recommend not even sending the free ones until you know what your scores are. What if you totally bombed or something? Wait till you get all your scores together, then send with your apps.

You can also save some money by doing it this way- if you take the SAT first, have it sent to the 4 colleges that don’t require the SAT subject tests, if you have any. Then send the SAT subject tests to the 4 colleges that require them or to ones that you didn’t sent the SAT to. They will get both sets of scores reported on the report.
