Warning to Parents: Zohan movie is REALLY ADULT

My kids and I watched all of the Kevin Smith movies together (well, except for Jersey Girl). Including Clerks, when they were in their early teens. Honestly, I don’t see the issue there. There’s a modicum of gross-out humor embedded in a morality play . . . not so unlike The Simpsons, just a bit more explicit.

In general, I think parents SHOULD watch standard teen humor stuff with their kids. I’m not so certain about stuff that verges on actual porn; that could be uncomfortable. On the other hand, I saw Last Tango In Paris with my parents when I was 15, and I don’t remember anyone being desperately uncomfortable (other than out of boredom).
