A girl at my daughter’s school started a blog on which she posted stuff more appropriate for a private diary. Names weren’t named, but descriptors were/are sufficient for anyone in the know to figure out the identities. A student found out about the blog, told another, and then word spread like wildfire. Please remind your student not to post anything on a blog or even FaceBook or an e-mail that he or she wouldn’t mind seeing on a billboard. Blogs, of course, are public, and it doesn’t take much to forward an e-mail or even cut’n’past a private FaceBook comment.
