Warren Buffet and the best advice he ever got

I hear alot of people on this board talking about how they are going to “change the world”, which is commendable, but it often feels like they are over-looking the more important ways to make a difference.

On a different thread I mentioned that they best way to make a difference in this world or to “change it”, is to simply lead a good life and raise honest, productive children. I think what Buffet says is somewhat similiar.

^I totally agree, the best way to change the world is to live a good life and to invest in the next generation to make sure they keep at least the same standards that you keep if not higher.

Integrity is something that’s definitely missing today as we’ve seen from the oil spill, financial meltdown etc…

I’m not sure that “integrity” was ever an integral part of society.

^well I’m just referring to the society I know today haha
