I would guess from last year, since USC rejections haven’t come out yet.

I’m just curious.

I personally think I’d get rejected from USC just for the fact that USC required mid year grades while UCLA only looked at my 10-11th grades. Since I had straight As during those 2 years, it was fine with UCLA. However, I had 3 Bs (including a B-) in 3 of my AP classes in my senior year and I’m thinking that really just obliterated all my chances at USC.

Son’s friend was accepted in one of the early waves at USC and rejected from UCLA. Two friends with similar stats have been accepted by UCLA and are still waiting on USC.

notaznguy; The 3 Bs you have in Senior year I don’t think is a big deal and cause for concern, particularly because they are in AP classes…as long as the rest of your app is ok. Plus the straight As in 10/11 is admirable, you probably have a high GPA even with the Bs. Good luck!

I had a solid C in one of my AP classes, and two B’s in two of my other ones in my senior year and I still got into USC, Northwestern, and Wash U. I was freaking out though, but I really don’t think it’s a big deal.
