Here are the courses I took junior year:

AP US History
English 3 Hon.
Algebra 2 Hon.
Drafting 1-STANDARD
1 credit
Psychology 1-STANDARD
(It’s a half a year course) .5 credit
Dual Enrollment Business Math (community college) .5 credit

SUMMER
College Trigonometry
Calculus of functions of one variable-Yale
Urban studies and development-Yale :)

When I started junior year I was in the process of moving so my course load wasn’t that hard because I was starting a week late and moving takes a lot of time. Should I explain that?

it’s in context with what type of classes your school offers. If they only offer 3 AP’s and a couple honors classes, then you’re looking good. But if they offer like 10 AP’s and many honors, then not as much.

I included notes with my application about my schedule for certain things, so if it doesn’t sound too banal include one. Just post it here and we’ll check it for you :)

good luck :)

Hey I have a similar situation. This year I was unable to take Spanish 4 due to scheduling conflicts with my AP classes. All our AP’s are double periods so you can’t take as many classes as it is. Do think a note saying something like: My school is small in size, only has 6 APs (which are all 2 periods), so I was unable to take as many classes as I would have liked. Would something along those lines be appropriate?

My new school offers many APs and honors, do you think my 3 summer courses could make up for it, since two of them were taken at an ivy league?

probably it will help, did you take any AP’s this year- cuz colleges like to see a strong senior year curriculm.

Senior year classes:
AP Physics C
AP Calculus AB
AP Macroeconomics-half the year-.5 credit
AP Microeconomics-half the year-.5 credit
AP Government-half the year-.5 credit
AP Statistics
English 4 Honors- AP is offered at my school.
Psychology 2-Standard-I needed one easy class for half the year-.5 credit

Sounds like fun

wow, id say that makes up for it. I only have 6 AP classes at my school and hardly anyone takes them. You’re looking you have such a plethora to chose from!

My school has almost every AP to choose from, but the school I went to for the first two years only had half of what the school that I am at right now has.

o gotcha. yea, it would be nice to have more aps, but i’ll get plenty of classes next yr in college.

I know its to late but which school is easier to get into ED Penn or Brown, with emphasis on ecs?
