I agree.
I am thinking that this might be another case of a student applying to multiple excellent universities and colleges, and being accepted to one exceptional school which is a great fit for them. Colleges and universities are looking for students who are a good fit. In spite of negativity that some other unrelated schools might have gotten in the news recently, nonetheless I think that admissions at top schools get it right quite often when selected a few students from a very long list of exceptional applicants.
OP you are going to a great college in the fall that is part of an exceptional consortium of colleges. You will need to work hard and you will get a great education.
