was the sat or act easier for u?

was the sat or act easier for u? scores?

The ACT science was hard, but I think the SAT english was harder then the ACT English.

The SAT was much easier for me…I don’t think I got any SAT math wrong (however I declined to answer one, forgot a stupid formula…still mad). English was about the same. The SAT essay topic was dumb/vauge, but I did fine on it. Overall I liked the SAT better. Can a

what formula did you forget spet?

You had to figure out how many sides a polygon has from the size of one of the angles. Once I found the size, I couldn’t go on without it. I think I might have been just about perfect if I had :frowning: not even Mr. TI 89 could help me at that point!

act!

1250 on sat
32 on act!:)

ACT is easier then SAT except for science, which I bombed :(

LOL yeah, the ACT is predominant in my area and I had been taking it since I was a freshman just for practice (ironically, my highest score came as a frosh). Anyways, I always scored really high in science, like a 34 or something, but then this year I thought that section was waaay harder than it had been in the past, I didn’t even finish and I got like a 27 which really sucked because it brought my composite down a lot. But to answer the OP’s question, I would say they were about equal, though I scored a little higher on the ACT (33 ACT, 2130 SAT), it just depends where your strengths lie, I think.

ACT=36, SAT=why take it?

Well, I’m actually taking it in June, so the SAT IIs I took yesterday will count for something. But the ACT Science is a real jerk, but it’s the last section, and you’re so beat you either slow way down and rush at the end, or just don’t think straight. My lab partner, soon to be at Penn, told me something about how our school is geared more towards the ACT, so it’s possible that the difficulty is dependent on how you’re taught.

for me, definitely the ACT. i took a kaplan prep course for the SAT, studied a bit before it. i have taken both the old and new ones, and got 1380 and 2100, hopefully improved my score a little on saturday’s test. then i took the ACT with no preparation, knowing nothing about it (i didn’t even know there was science on it!) and got a 33 somehow.

ACT! 34 (math brought me down- 32 subscore, amusingly enough my favorite subject) and SAT 700m/720cr/740w= 2160 (also 690m/730v old sat)

And I live in CA, SAT country…but I also don’t do the whole prep course thing that half my school does. Oh well, I guess my time is more important to me than a fabulous test score.

i just got by score sheet back today and i got numbers 5 5 6 and 7 wrong on various sections *** do i do i get every ****ing hard problem right i just cant read please help me

does anyone know what schools will accept the ACT and will not require students to take the sat or sat2’s?
