<p>Sorry, this may be a stupid question, but I requested an interview yesterday so is she offering an interview or is she just letting me know that she’s there to answer questions? </p>
<p>Are you sure this school offers interviews, or just the opportunity to meet with someone connected with the college? That she said “I heard” seems to imply the college told her, and if all she offered was to meet and give you more info than maybe that’s all this college does.</p>
<p>Let’s clear any confusion. The note was an open ended offer. Email her back and say – “that wasn’t an interview request was it? If so, we can meet. Otherwise, thanks for reaching out to me – it’s nice to know someone is nearby who can help”</p>
