<p>Hi I was wondering how the Wash U scholarship program worked and i feel a tad naive. I know I can apply for them now before I possibly get accepted but are there any repercussions of getting the scholarship and then deciding in the end not to attend Wash U if I got in. I am thinking that the summer research grants that they give you have to go since they only take about 20 kids and its in the summer before freshman year but I am still unsure of it. Can anyone clarify as none of my other schools really have such scholarships programs.</p>

<p>the scholarships come contingent on your acceptance. They just have you fill out a separate form because the application is pretty extensive. If you decide not to go to the school, you don’t get the scholarship</p>
