I got waitlisted. I was honestly expecting a rejection so I’m lowkey proud of myself lol. Idk if I’ll accept the spot but it’s something

My son felt the same way. He printed the letter and put it on the wall next to his acceptances. He didn’t do that with his other wait-list. LOL.
Somebody mentioned that the waitlist might be ranked at WashU. Does anybody know for sure…and is it possible to get the ranked number from admissions?

I could see that. I toured, but never talked to my admissions counselor or went out of my way to show interest. Not too bothered since I can’t afford it anyways.

Waitlisted. Honestly, I expected a rejection. Didn’t show much Demonstrated Interest and didn’t visit due to personal time constraints.
I accepted a spot on the waitlist and plan on sending a follow-up email. To any WashU connoisseurs here, do you have any tips for showing some kind of DI after being waitlisted? I’m not banking on WashU but I’m glad to know I wasn’t flat out rejected. Unless WashU WL’s everyone?

Accepted to the school of engineering. Stats: ACT 35, GPA unweighted 4.0, NMF, Varsity sport team captain, and some other ECs associated with her major (Computer Science).

- 800 SAT Subject Test
- 4.5 GPA
- Lots of community, service, and athletic ECs
- Never visited
- URM. They knew I would have better offers and wouldn’t go anyway? LOL.

In other words, if we are under-enrolled in any one of our five undergraduate divisions (Architecture, Art, Arts & Sciences, Business, or Engineering), we will seek wait list candidates with those interests.
