D was accepted! Math major, 3.9 GPA / 1470 SAT, rigorous classes (AP+), EC leadership, good teacher recs, good essays.

@potatomato88 I was wondering the same. After getting into schools better than WashU, I thought I would be very likely to get in. But I was waitlisted. I showed very little demonstrated interest. The only contact I had with my AO was an email were I asked for a additional update to be added to my application.

@hockey731 I showed no demonstrated interest and got in. I think WashU likes interest but it is not necessary by any means.
