I told my D25 to submit the video but she was burned out by then. This was her last application and she only applied because they kept spamming her with fee waivers. Suffice to say, we are not expecting much.

none of this is accurate

this school is very on top of everything

admissions there is a very well organized machine - nothing gets by them and they are not out to trick anyone. One year an AO was removed and that was because they moved on to another role at WashU it had zero to do with an applicantā€™s pending decision

yes the next 24hrs are going to be a mind game - only if you actually want to get into / go this school. those who donā€™t care if this is an option for them with receiving admission are ofc chilling.

I also saw in another thread that some people lost the visit us portion of their portal during the day leading to decisions

Iā€™ve seen speculation in previous threads. I just signed up for a virtual tour and the visit us is still there but the tour hasnā€™t happened yet

Is the speculation that having the ā€œVisit and Engage With Usā€ info still there is a good or bad sign?

So is the general consensus just that not having visit options is mostly meaningless but may point towards negative results?

hmm. ok. D25 doesnā€™t have it in hers. She didnā€™t visit but she did do virtual visits and an interview already, so I wonder if that might be it?
