WashU Chemistry Department Master's Degree

Hello, all.
I am currently researching the information of chemistry major in several university. Now, I am looking into the website of WashU and trying to finding the details of the graduate school (Chemistry department) but it is not clear enough to get the right information that I want to know.

It seems that the department is only offering Doctorate Programs to the students in the graduate school. That means, they are seeking the students who consider it as a terminal degree? Then, what about Master’s Degree? i think they do offer Master’s Degrees as well. Is there anyone who knows about the system clearly. I am a bit confused. Thanks! :-)

Some universities with Ph.D. programs do not admit for the Master degree. Instead the Masters is offered to students who, for whatever reason, are not able to complete the Ph.D. WashU may be one of these.

Other universities have a terminal Masters program but those students are expected to self-fund their studies. Sometimes, a student who comes in to a Masters program like this can move into the Ph.D. program.

Finally there are those universities which do not have a Ph.D. program and therefore have a funded Masters program, usually with a thesis.

Oh, Thanks a lot! That helps me :-)
