I’m not sure bc for multicultural celebration days it says “Your travel, food, and housing will be provided free of charge” but for spring preview it simply says “Our office will coordinate your travel with our travel agent, Gwin’s Travel. We can only pay for tickets booked by Gwin’s”
for the spring preview visits, do you stay overnight in a dorm with students or do they put you in a hotel? for people who have done spring preview in the past, was it worth it? trying to plan my trip now.
I was accepted with a 32 ACT w/ 3.97 GPA. Didn’t apply for scholarships. Weird, people with way better stats got rejected/waitlisted??
@J2H239 Thank you so much for your encouraging comment! I have been waitlisted… So we’ll see what the future holds for me! At this point (unfortunately), I’m leaning towards dancing professionally instead of going to college if I continue to get decisions like this haha. For those of you who want to know I have a 35 ACT with a 4.6 GPA.

@52balletvieta, it is not a big deal due to the nature of crspshot in competitive schools. I believe good news is on the way. Think twice before you are going to dancing professional.
For those wondering, for the spring visit you stay overnight with a current student in their dorm on the south 40 (washu’s freshmen/sophomore residential campus). They suggest that you bring a sleeping bag.
@J2H239 Thank you so much. I definitely hope so! I love ballet so much, so I wouldn’t mind the toil of dancing professionally. But I know in the long run, school will be most suitable for me.
