<p>both are very challenging…WashU is notorious for screwing kids over when it comes to curves, UPenn also makes it hard to get a good gpa…I’d go with UPenn if money was the same, and you liked the schools the same…UPenn has more name recongnition imo…</p>
<p>I’d choose WashU. WashU has Barnes Jewish Hospital next door and is in a safer city than UPenn. Sidenote - WashU’s medschool is also ranked #3 for getting residencies</p>
<p>Penn has CHOP and STL is one of the most dangerous cities in America, about on part with West Philly. WUSTL and Penn Med are essentially equally-regarded schools. No residency ranking exists.</p>
<p>Both programs are excellent.</p>
