Magic 8-ball says, “Ask again later”. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Anyone here still waiting, I got the email three days ago but still nothing
I just got off the waitlist. Did I get in just because I wrote an email to the admissions about my interest? I really hope that if I go, I can really handle the rigor of the pre-med program. I mean, I am very dedicated to working hard, but some horror stories of premed at WashU do scare me a bit. I just hope that WashU accepted me because I am smart enough (and my own merit), rather than just my expressed interest.
@uhsa11 Do not doubt yourself! You got in because you deserve to get in. And do not worry about the pre-med classes. My son was accepted as a PNP major and switched to pre-med (pre-vet) during orientation and class selection. I was VERY worried because, as smart as my son is, he did not work very hard in HS. He is now finishing sophomore year and had a 4.0 going into second semester. He works so hard, and I am incredibly impressed with his work ethics . . . may of which I think he learned at WashU.
As a side note, WashU has a very collaborative community. There are study sessions/groups and even students that come into the dorms weekly to answer questions. Just use your resources and don’t be afraid to ask.
Good luck! WashU is really a special place. I graduated there in the 80s, and my son loves the school as much as I did and still do.
No news today either, is anyone here waiting? Are results going to be released next week as well?
Wow! How nice they are making offers earlier this year. Last year they started offering spots of the waitlist on 4/30. My D was offered a spot but had committed the night before to somewhere else and at that point did not want to revisit what had already been a hard decision. Might have been a whole different situation had she gotten her offer sooner.
My son also got the email saying good news and that they were reviewing the wait list and that his name came up. They said he should respond by April 15 if he is still interested and the Admissions Committee would get back to him shortly. He sent the response the same day (I believe the 13th) but still has had no response. Kind of frustrating because the good news email seemed to imply that an offer may be likely and communicated by now. I wonder if that same good news email went to everyone on the wait list.
@Greenghosty I never received the good news email so I’m sure he will get his offer eventually. They’re probably sending out acceptances in waves starting with the people who got the email.
@Greenghosty I also got the email and have yet to hear back. I am very upset with how they are choosing to send results, and the email didn’t go out to everyone so it means we are somewhat more of a first pick. It would be disappointing if they end up not choosing us after raising our hopes
For those who got the email or got off the waitlist, would you mind sharing your stats/ECs?
I still have not heard anything yet either. Hoping they continue to let people off the waitlist. Good luck to you! I really do like WashU, and if I get in off the waitlist I will go there!!!
Friendly reminder: We will all end up where we are supposed to be!

I declined my Washu offer so I hope one of you get in. Good luck.
@Greenghosty @LitLover24 did u guys get any updates today?
No updates yet! I have a feeling we won’t get an update until after May 1st… but we never know!
Thanks for opening a slot! Unfortunately it did not come our way?. Where did u decide to go?
@kIngboothethird. Where did you decide to go?
Anyone get the WashU Interest Form email today? I’m guessing they didn’t get enough people from the first round of emails?
I just got the interest form
DS just got the interest form. She submitted LOCI couple days ago. Should we input the LOCI in this form? Thanks!
