<p>Does UW look at the WASL?</p>

<p>I don’t believe so. </p>

<p>Nowhere on the application did they ask about the WASL…unless they secretly look at them when you submit your application. But it wouldn’t make sense to look at them, because out-of-state applicants don’t take the WASL.</p>

<p>I’ve heard rumors that WASL scores are sent to colleges, but either they’re just rumors (because I’m 99% sure they weren’t sent to any of my schools), or it will start with the class of 2008, because that’s the class for whom the WASL starts really counting. Really, though, I’m sure whatever score you get won’t have an effect.</p>

<p>i just wondered because my guidance counselor told us that UW looked at them “as much as the SATs” but i didnt really believe that.</p>
