<p>there is no rivalry. WashU kids could care less about emory, because we know we’re better than them. if we wanted a rivalry, it would have to be some school in the location (none which compare to wash u) and in the same academic class (none which compare to wash u in this region). WashU might as well start a rivalry with cornell or stanford instead. that would be more interesting</p>
<p>I am a Wash U fan, but I do think that Northwestern is comparable to Wash U. Some say that Northwestern is better than Wash U, and then some say that Wash U is better…It would be hard to lose at either of these fine learning institutions.</p>

<p>well, there is a “war” between us right now actually…emory people spraypainted “Wash U girls are ugly” on a wall in our campus, and I myself am in a group on facebook called “Emory was my safety school, *****es”</p>

<p>Wash U girls are beautiful…I just do not understand how anybody can make a blanket statement like that (?)</p>

<p>Wash U girls are much, much, much more attractive than I expected. They are, for the most part, very pretty. </p>
<p>Oh, and if you chekc the Wash U student newspaper Online, Studlife, you’ll see about Emory’s SGA declaring “war” on Wash U. Its a funny story. Now students here at Washu are selling shirts that say </p>
<p>“Emory was my Safety School”-on the front
AND
“The War is Over”-on the back</p>

<p>i was at washu this weekend and THERE IS a huge rivalry. the story i heard is that emory wanted to start some school spirit so they instigated this rivalry. something evolving graffiti but now washu students have all these shirts that say EMORY WAS MY SAFETY SCHOOL</p>
<p>this is all something new though, as of this year… in the past (and it sounds like currently too…) no one really cared</p>
<p>there is no rivalry. the only reason we made those shirts is to make fun of emory for starting a rivalry with us. no one at wash u cares about emory or wants a rivalry with them. i dont know what you saw this weekend, but the whole thing is worthless and no one wants it… but it’s still funny to make fun of emory</p>
