Watch "Glee"

well ticklemepink, I liked her bangs just not her attitude… So with the closing song was Rachel trying to say that she really “did it for love”?

I agree, EK. I’ve always had a love/hate thing for Glee. I had high hopes for the show when it began and it has disappointed me with practically every episode. I get that we’re supposed to suspend disbelief but even at that, it isn’t well-written or remotely close to consistent in its storylines. A touch of reality now and then isn’t a bad thing. We saw a bit of that in this week’s show, e.g., the harsh reaction of the coach, the fight between Santana and Quinn, but then we have Rachel sending Sunshine to a crack house (in Lima, Ohio?) and then singing What I Did for Love, which would have possibly been slightly appropriate if the intention in the song choice was her love for herself being the star of New Directions. The chance that there was that much thought going into that decision is between slim and none. The song didn’t really fit but, of course, was a vehicle for Lea’s beautiful voice. The sexual abuse/molestation scene was wrong. That isn’t something you joke about, no matter how crazy the show is.

I did enjoy the beginning of the show with the videoblog interviews. Very funny! Especially the one about everyone hating Mr. S’s rapping.

The best part of that show is still Sue Sylvester!

So true. When Finn was saying he would never break up with her I was thinking, OMG, I’d break up with her this second!

I mentioned that to my kids…I really didn’t think Sue was evil enough to cause another woman to live the rest of her life as a registered sex offender.

I really didn’t think Sue was evil enough to cause another woman to live the rest of her life as a registered sex offender.

me either plus " kids" watch this show.
The dogpoop cookies was Sue- the over the top accusations is Sue, but sex abuse isn’t a joke & neither are false accusations.
( also Will, “too quick to join Sues scheme” didn’t go over with me either)

I really spent about 20 minutes googling Dot-Marie Jones and sure enough, it is a she. She is a 6’3" female arm wrestling world champion from Russia! Wow!

Rachel’s character is just getting smackable.

Loved Sunshine/Charice and hope she comes back (she is listed as a guest on the website).

Not so sure I want to see Curt with a boyfriend…

I finally watched it last night and it was just so, so for me. I liked the video blog at the beginning, but not much of the rest. Rachel was yuck last night and I didn’t think the songs were that great. I didn’t like the new football player Sam they had sing. Sunshine was probably my favorite.

Not so sure I want to see Curt with a boyfriend…

Yah, he gets a little hard to take sometimes too.If this show wants to last another year, they need to ease up on the stereotypes a bit.

Mike chang. Oh my god.

If I thought Glee was over-the-top last season, this season is way worse! I’m liking it less and less as time goes by. Just one caricature after another.

What no comments after last nights episode??

Love seeing Brit (the regular cast member) featured…she’s such an awesome dancer.

Rachel is so getting on my nerves this season.

love seeing Brit (the regular cast member) featured…she’s such an awesome dancer.

I agree

Rachel is so getting on my nerves this season.

I agree with that also- & there isn’t any backstory to explain why she is so neurotic.
I also think the crossover/sexual between the high school students and the adults is inappropriate & yucky.

Its one thing to sing something like " don’t stand so close to me" ( Police-which they could sing), but if they continue that vein, I will stop watching.

I guess someone was after ratings last night? Had to cover my girl’s eyes for about 10 min - guess I am just way old but really, you bring it to 8 pm, you have cute banter, people singing and dancing and then all of a sudden, people are lining up for the laughing gas (hello? does your dentist put you under alot?) and slithering around in bodysuits. Where’s the Sound of Music rerun to switch to when you need it?

Yeah, our HS has a young choir teacher who some of the young girls think is hot. I think that if he performed a pretty sexy number with the kids in front of the student body, he’d be in trouble with the administration. And Sue having a naked HS boy in her office? she’d be fired

If this show was realistic, Sue would have been fired long ago. Very little about ANYthing in the show is at all realistic.

This season really has no story to it at all.

I am with everyone else in that Rachel has become annoying and I don’t even look forward to hearing Lea Michele sing anymore.

I agree. I don’t know of any school where the cheerleaders wear their uniforms every day. Where piano players and orchestra members pop in whenever a song is coming on. Where the football and basketball seasons seem to run concurrently. Where a cash strapped glee club can afford new costumes for numerous musical numbers every week. I consider all of that harmless. Adults behaving in a sexual manner around students with no consequences, however…I think that is on another level and shouldn’t be trivialized.

If my 17 yr old thought last night’s episode was inappropriate (mainly the anethesia issue), it must have been REALLY inappropriate…

comment was “nothing like promoting drug abuse on a major TV show at 8:00 at night”…

and she is no angel by any means…

I am not liking Glee. I decided to give it a try because my daughter loves the show. The story is ridiculous, and I am not a prude, inappropriate for an 8:00 show at times. The actors and actresses are not attractive. The singing…not that I’m an expert…isn’t that good.
