Watch "Glee"

I liked tonight’s show a lot too. I was glad they finally let Beast be a real person instead of a caricature.

I was actually sitting there thinking, “who could I fix Beast up with?”

thank goodness Glee is back to normal; best show of this season so far…

Is Blaine going to be Kurt’s? I know there was some discussion of a partner this season…

Tonight’s show was a good one. They once again focused on the characters more and I loved it.

This was the best episode of the season. Loved the football guy kissing Kurt and struggling with it afterwards. Blaine and Kurt were great. Also seems like they might be building a story for Puck. His reaction in Figgins office was hinting at more.

Good show: No Rachel (or hardly any). Puck back. Beast. Good plot with Kurt. No inappropriate Will numbers.

But: Less than wonderful music. The only thing I liked was the prep-group a capella number, and that was more for the whole scene, not the (not-so-original) arrangement. Start Me Up/Living On A Prayer was OK, sorta, but too much haireography for me.

The a capella number was provided by Tufts University’s Beelzebubs.

[" + artTitle.replace(“-”,“”) + " - " + “Tufts Daily” + " - " + “News” + "](http://www.tuftsdaily.com/news/bubs-to-be-heard-but-not-seen-on-tonight-s-glee-1.2398811)

was wondering about the a cappella number (2 p’s) and its relation to Tufts Beezlebubs.
their jackets were a little over the top and costumy, but the number overall was relevant and fresh and fun to watch.

Yes, yes, yes, agree with all who say this was the best show of the season. We need plot and storyline, not just Broadway numbers…And no more Barbara Streisand, please, if any producers are lurking…and paying attention!

Lots of meaty story here between Arty and Britany, Beast, Kurt and Blaine. Lots of excitement and new ideas, still shock-value scenes like the 2 kissing scenes. It was nice to see Sue Sylvester in her element with the confetti cannons.

Bravo, Glee! Well done! You are back on top in my book. :)

Good for them! They were on that a capella competition show the summer before last, too, and I remember thinking they were pretty good. I assume it wasn’t really them in the outrageously fey uniforms last night – they can’t possibly all be that good-looking.

That show is coming back in December.

Much improved writing- although they are messing with Puck- IMO he is not that believable as a tough guy- although I liked Figgins coming out from behind his desk.

I also wish that since they felt they needed to have a disabled cast member, that they could have chosen someone who was actually disabled- even though I like Artie.

& did anyone else think that one reason why the show was more palatable this week, was because Rachel Berry’s character had less screen time?
They have to figure out what to do with her.

The Beezlebubs (aka the 'Bubs) did the arrangement and were backup singers. But JHS is right–they weren’t the ones we saw. I think my reference is a little different from the Tufts Daily one above:

Jumble[/url”>http://sites.tufts.edu/jumble/]Jumble

They do have disabled cast members: Becky Jackson (Lauren Potter) and Jean Sylvester (Robin Trocki) both have Down Syndrome on the show and in real life.

I realize that Glee has written other characters into the script with disabilities, but the primary similarity in those roles- is that those characters would be significantly different without that aspect IMO, but why cast an dancer as a paraplegic?

Are they trying to say they couldn’t find a paraplegic actor as talented as McHale?

How hard did they look?

I bet it’s a decision they regret.

It isn’t that I don’t think McHale isn’t a great addition to the cast- but if they cast him first- why then " cripple" him?

I like Glee- but part of me looks at it and says- Asian kids- Check- gay kid- check- African American kid- check, Jewish kid -check…

I barely watch TV- so I am not saying that this is unusual-but.

EK - I think that is the point of the show. They have every stereotype represented and most of the time the character is played exactly as you expect. But the times they don’t, it gives the audience a chance to see beyond their own prejudices. I may be seeing way more into this than the producers intend…but it is a fun show.

And remember, they are the self professed “losers” of the school…The kid in the wheelchair, the gay kid, the minority kids (whatever is a minority at any particular school) may well be the kids who don’t feel like they are in the mainstream.

Wow!! Loved tonight’s episode. Singing in the Rain/Umbrella was great!!

watching it tape delay…is Gwyneth Paltrow actually that talented? where has she been.?? I heard she knocked the CMA’s out of the park too…

Great finale…
