ouch, anyone else?

My DD got rejected

I’m so sorry, ace, and all of you who have been disappointed today. I guess the vigil is over, but don’t lose hope or confidence in yourselves. Focus on your RD apps. I feel I have come to know you a little through this forum, and have been very moved by your selflessness in supporting each other, your talent and your drive. Keep up your hopes, and your sense of purpose and possibility, and I know you will have some great choices in April, and in life.

bah humbug. that is all I have to say.

D got rejected.

my god… you all have very bright futures. don’t be worried.

rejected

Rejected.
4.35 GPA, rank 2, 4.0 UW
2340 SAT
Newspaper Editor in chief, key club pres, varsity water polo, etc etc.
Others, well not significant, because they obv. weren’t good enough.
And I’m all out of weed. The world loves me today.

That was the worst waiting process ever. Time passed agonizingly slow and I don’t think I’ve ever checked the clock so much.

Does anyone know how it was organized? Judging by my friends, it seems like those who applied earliest were notified the earliest. Any truth to this?

I applied a day before the deadline and was notified at 3:15 PST. I don’t think it was that… it might have been random.

I got my email at 5:46 PST and i applied on Oct 15th, so it doesn’t seem to be by earliest submission

a lot of deffered came first then nothing much until 5:30 so maybe defferred-rejected-accepted?
