Hi.
I think I am very well prepared specially in math. I would like to wave math 11 with an examination during orientation. I live outside the U.S. so I did not take any IB or AP courses, even though my courses may have covered the same topics.
In additon to math 11 what other courses should I try to wave?
About math 11: The course wouldn’t be at HMC if all the IIC 800 scorers wouldn’t need it, right? So, should I still try to wave it?

You don’t really need to worry about placing out of courses now, they will explain it all to you during Orientation.

However, since you’re curious, http://www.math.hmc.edu/placement/ has information about math placement. Many people recommend taking math 11 anyway, because at Mudd we emphasize different topics than some other schools. Still, a lot of people pass out of the class. The next most common class to place out of would probably (pun!) be math 62, probability and statistics.

I’d say very few people pass out of more than those two classes in math, but there are people who pass out of most of the core (and more!). Besides math, people commonly pass out of CS 5, the introductory programming course, and Physics 24, mechanics and wave motion.

Like I said, keep this stuff in mind if you want to review for the exams, but don’t worry, you will take care of everything at orientation.
