Ok i came to the US from korea and have to write down the schools i went to beforehand. Anyways the name of the korean school on my transcript is not accurate. So i want to write the official version(i doubt if the adcoms would know the school either way). However, should i just follow the name on my transcript to avert confusion or should i write the exact name?

<p>The reason I say put the name on the transcript is you don’t want any confusion over which school/years the transcript refers to. You can let them know that the school has another name if you feel it is necessary — shouldn’t really be a huge issue either way.</p>
<p>List the school for 9th grade, even though it was technically “middle school” - colleges want to see transcripts for 9-12 grade.</p>
