<p>Is this requirement tough to ace? Will someone like me, a science oriented guy, have a hard time doing well on the humanity courses? How would you compare it with the UChicago’s core-curriculum requirement, which I hear can be a huge pain? Does anyone know?</p>

<p>Nope. Nothing like UChicago or Columbia’s core.</p>
<p>Its all what you make of it. You can choose to take incredibly interesting and mind-blowing courses or if you prefer, you can just pick a few micks and finish your distros that way, not to say those are always mutally exclusive.</p>
<p>Or you can take courses that are both mind-blowing interesting and blowoff (ancient greek coins anyone??? materials and the modern world???)</p>
