<p>Has anyone gone through the audition process at Western Connecticut State Univ? I just wanted to know how difficult the sight singing and particularly, the ear training exam was. Concerned that there will be intense dictation required. Thanks for your help!</p>
<p>i haven’t gone through the process but i have had friends who auditioned there… as far as I know the process was not difficult, as compared to a school like The Hartt School or Mannes College for Music. Western is known more for Music Ed than for its Performance program…if you haven’t already try the website…i know they don’t have student experiences but the websites do sometimes give lists of students to contact for asking question…
