We have an athletic study center???

[Welcome to the Athletic Study Center — Athletic Study Center](http://asc.berkeley.edu)

Are they really so mentally deficient that normal avenues won’t work for them, like the SLC or having friends or whatever? I’m guessing that the budget for this doesn’t fall under the athletic department? So this is what the ever-increasing tuition is paying for, teaching idiots how to weave baskets.

The athletes bring more revenue to the school than you will ever bring in your entire life.

They’re busy people. A lot more busy than us regular students, and they have a lot of other priorities.

Considering that they had a multimillion deficit until recently, not really.

Bitter virgin is bitter. Go study

Only in certain sports (football and basketball). However, student-athletes in these sports are often the ones most in need of additional study assistance.

Some people are better at certain things than others! Wow!

Go to a liberal arts college if the fact that we have students with interests outside of academics annoys you so much.

Is everyone at Berkeley this egotistical and obnoxious? The only exposure I’ve had to Berkeley students has been this forum but so far, more than any other college, a lot of Cal students seem to fit this mold, especially people from EECS.
