No detail given. Called by police 500 miles away. They are waiting for a Chinese interpreter to come. French girl moving tomorrow. She wants to live with other French girls. I am happy!

I just got bit of info she posted her picture and location on " WE CHAT" and police were able to find her.

Why would she be on a social media like We Chat if she wanted to disappear? It is not one of the most secured sites. It is mainly used by Chinese.
So you found her through We Chat and you notified the police in VA. It is just astonishing to me that the agency wasn’t more involved in finding this girl.
No Virginia Police found her on E Chat! They called us!

Well, I’ve been cured of any possible interest in hostessing any children–I know there are reputable programs out there who will work closely with families and do a much better job, but I’m not up for that kind of drama.

I’d definitely NOT work with THAT program – Rotary is much more reputable. They do help with international student exchanges, but I am done with drama–have enough with aging relatives.
Boy, @fauxmaven, that program has some nerve, asking you to consider hosting for them again! Eek!
This whole thing smells very fishy. Take the Chinese girl’s things to the Local rep’s house, get the French girl relocated, and walk away. No Mas. Do not let the Chinese girl back in your home for any reason.
And next idea, don’t jump before thinking and vetting.
I’m sure the Chinese girl will be on the next flight back to China, paid for by the USA taxpayers.
