It has better be paid for by the smarmy program. They screwed up- they should pay.
@fauxmaven - re your post #235- you haven’t clarified: when did you hear about other students disappearing from their programs (aside from the article that a poster linked above from California).
My kids went on tours with EF Tours in 2011. They weren’t the greatest in terms of chaperones and quality of programming, but this is horrifying.
