We need a chill thread. I’ll start with a riddle…
Three people checked into a motel and paid the person at the front desk $30 for a room (they split it 3 ways, and incase you can’t do the math, thats $10 a person). When the hotel manager returned, he noticed that the clerk had accidentally charged $30 instead of $25 for the room. The manager told the clerk to return $5 to the people. Not knowing how to divide $5 evenly, he decided to keep $2 and to give them only $3. The customers were very happy because they paid only $27 for the room ($9 each). However, if they paid $27 and the clerk kept $2, that adds up to $29. What happened to the other Dollar? I STILL DONT NO THE AWNSER

Oh yea, and what kind of music do you guys listen to?

I like: electronic music in general, metal, rock, emo ( yes emo…but I’m definitely not one of those emo kids), blues, jazz…almost anything except reggae and reggaeton…yeah…ScAr please do post the answer when you figure it out, I suck at riddles.

OK wait… I got it ( got some help form my brother)

The people actually paid 25 bucks for the room, and if you add to that the 2 bucks the clerk kept that does give 27. If you multiply 9 times 3 you’re already including the $2 there, you shouldn’t add them again.

Well technically the $3 isn’t in this problem anymore since I have them paying 9 dollars each for the room. But whatever. They pay 10 dollars each for the room. So that’s $30. Of this, $25 goes to the hotel, the clerk keeps $2, and the remaining $3 is split evenly among them.
