Think about this:

Shoreland is about 1 mile from campus, or 20 minutes.
There are 70 or so days in the first quarter.
If a student walked to and from campus every day all quarter, that Shoreland student will be about 140 miles in better shape than the rest of the campus.

This proves that we will get laid more often because we are in better shape than every one else with a 20 second walk to class…lol

I’m bored…

really bored

-just a thought

However, most Shorelanders probably take the bus.

EDIT: Equally alarming, the Shoreland is a lot closer to the more popular restaurants.

Eh? No it’s not. The most popular restaurants are on 57th street between Kimbark and Dorchester. This is about two blocks away from the main quads.

eh well who else will be dorming at shoreland?

Two good things about living in the Shoreland are its proximity to the 6 bus (Jackson Park Exp), which is the quickest way to get downtown, and the Point, which is lovely in the autumn and spring.

I guess it depends on your crowd. Most people that I know prefer restaurants on 55th, like The Snail. The University in general probably prefers places on 57th.

That’s probably because they live in the Shoreland. ;)

The restaurants on 53rd are better than both, in my opinion. But you rarely ever see underclassmen up there.
