We teenagers are always rebels, aren't we?

Hi all! So, I had (cough cough) a facebook and a myspace. I had to delete both of them last christmas because of an unfortunate thing i wrote during one of my unfortunate conflicts with a certain person. However, I revamped my facebook and only i know about it! (and my mom and friends i have on facebook.)

This is clue # 1 that i am a rebel

Clue # 2: I have been slacking so much that i walk out of class without asking. SIMPLY LEAVE and go into the halls and talk to my friends, txt message, w/e. But don’t let this fool you. It’s only clue # 2…

Clue # 3: My dad screams at me to go to my room if i did something really bad (his definition of bad is , for example, multitasking…aol and homework, so whatever) and me sitting there as he tries to hit me without flinching a muscle! How’s that? And sitting there through his threats, screaming at me and swatting his arm. (and no, he does not abuse me.)

How’s that?

Clue # 4: I don’t listen to my dad period. Ever. He and i are like oil and water in mars…we REALLY don’t mix, and i dislike him quite highly. He’ll say “empty the garbage” and i’ll just fall asleep. Or sometimes, he’ll say, “you are such an as*hole i cannot believe you didn’t take the dog outside at EXACTLY 9 oclock or feed them at EXACTLY 7.” Does he expect me to be on a timer?

Clue # 5: I consistently leave the house without telling anybody. I go out to clubs with my friends and tell nobody (maybe my mom b/c i trust her) but she’ll never tel lmy dad…who has no idea i’ve been clubbing since january!

Clue # 6: your turn!

Is anybody else a rebel? And i’m not a badas*, but i know i’m getting there haha

yeah every teenager is a rebel in some way. i blame society

^Eventually you’ll run out of things to blame and have no option but to blame yourself.

And to the OP, your post was really pathetic.

I take responsibility for my actions, which, society has forgotten to do. Good luck in college my friend, because no one is making sure you do your homework, read the books, etc. You have to learn self control.

Don’t post stuff on facebook or myspace that you wouldn’t want made in public. Employers look at it, people might have saved those pictures to their computer, and people actually do take pictures of other people’s facebooks. (I don’t know what the program is called though). Even the posts you make on CC are archived, so what you post on the internet is forever.

thanks kissmekate! It wasn’t supposed to be a revolutionary post, i’m bored! what can i say?

lol i’m bada$$.
just… no one knows.

haha! it’s better that way lol

Sorry if I came off as an a-hole.

lol no, im serious. my parents have no idea what i do once theyre in bed and my school friends don’t know what goes on in my life once the bell rings.
the south asian community here thinks im the perfect kid - i even teach sunday school!
it’s just that the cooler part of my life starts after midnight…

lol, you serious paro? You’re a perfect little Indian girl and you know it

Well I’m personally quitting all my bad habits by this summer. They partially added to my horrible memories of prom. Nothing better than being scared for life after hearing what someone was doing next to you while you’re passed out.

I used to be a “rebel”. Hung out with the wrong kids, it got to the point where I had the cops called on me about once a month, had an anger management counselor, got into fights with people all the time and almost got kicked out of my house.

Then I calmed down. Maybe I’m being secretly drugged and I don’t know it.

yeah venkz - perfect little indian girl from dawn till dusk. nvr in between.
[at least i won’t have to sneak out of my house anymore, the dorms are nice and open.]
bad habits?? shame on you! this fall, i teach you to have fun the clean way. woot

hmm, I have to say, I"m really not that much of a rebel. I mean, the most I really do taht might offend someone in my family is swearing like a sailor online ( i dont even swear that much out loud) and farting in the car when my parents tell me not to.

I cuss alot, but not in a serious manner. Sometimes, I add extra onions on my burgers. Is that rebellious enough?

We have less of the financial burden, and thus can focus more on the social aspects of life. This trend started after WWII when our economy really hit it off, and youngsters were able to focus less on the necessities of survival and more on the sweeter fruits of life; therefore, there was more room for rebelling and whatnot, which is why the college protests and stuff increased dramatically starting with the baby-boomer years.

Viva La Resistance!
