<p>How would somebody assess if you are competetive after 2 years of high school and no test scores? Come back a year from now.</p>

<p>@Xiomara‌ can I recommend veritas prep as opposed to the Princeton review. I tried both and found veritas prep to be way better. My Princeton review class was about 700 dollars for 18 hours. But veritas prep is an online course filled with extremely helpful videos for 400 dollars. I wish I did it from the start. I went from an 1810 to a 2030 with veritas</p>

<p>@GA2012MOM‌ Thank you! I had a really bad PSAT score of 158 (56 CR, 59 M, 47 W), but I have been practicing and I went to a 660 on critical reading, 630 in math, and 720 in writing. If I can improve my math and reading scores to a 700, would I still have a chance or does my SAT score have to be way better than that?</p>

<p>Xiomara, scoring a 700 or above all 3 sections will make you competetive for any school. After that it will come down to soft factors. Good luck!</p>

<p>@Milkis‌ Yeah, I know. The reason why I worry about applying to UC schools is because of my weak extracurriculars. I might apply early decision to UCLA just because it’s more reasonable than to apply to Stanford. Do you know if their financial aid is generous or would I have to pay a large fraction of tuition? Income is <$27,000</p>
