I have 3.58 UW GPA, I know this is low for top colleges but I have had A’s in english, science and history- math i=and spanish are difficult for me so I have been getting B- and B’s every year ( this has really brought down my GPA). I am applying for humanities ( I have decent EC’s in humanities related fields), I also got a 5 on AB section and 780 on Math 2( in tenth grade). Will colleges take into account that the classes that brought down my GPA doesn’t really have to do with my major? Also if it matters I have been taking the Hardest courses offered in every subject including math and spanish. I am taking a Post AP Differential Calc course next year (I am a junior).
I wouldn’t worry about it. That 780 on Math II should eliminate any doubts a college has!
