"weak" subject tests

Does anyone know of any subject tests that are considered weaker than others? As in, they wouldn’t as impressive to universities as others?

Maybe Math Level 1 (even though some consider it quite difficult) and any language test that is an applicant’s native language.

just go to collegeboard and find the PDF with subject test percentiles. whichever test has the least people getting good scores is the toughest one. chinese is by far the least impressive; 800 is in the 56th percentile.

^ According to that logic, World History would be the toughest… with the average score being a 570.

mickjagger’s advice isn’t completely off, but it disregards the differences in the extent of self-selection present in each Subject Test’s test-taking population.

Well, WH is quite tough.

Actually, all the idiots take WH and USH because they were forced to take it in highschool. However an elective like physics, only the people who chose to take that class take the subject test.

thanks everyone for your thoughts. I am going to check out the collegeboard website for the stats, but silverturtle is right about self-selection… I figure as long as one’s not taking Math I or a first language then they’ll be fine!

PS - is WH really particularly tough?

itsinreach, I took WH last week, and I thought it was easy.
